Similar single rail folding motorcycle trailers on the market are sold with bias tires and steel wheels. These tires and wheels are good; they meet NHTSA standards. Radial tires, however, are better. They are less sensitive to overheating and are far more flexible than bias tires. More flexibility means more traction, more fuel economy, and more comfort.
5-spoke aluminum wheels are made from a single cast. This open design aids in air circulation which helps reduce the chance of tire overheating.
